ACTECO SQR477F 1.5L engine uses a SOHC (single overhead camshaft) technology with 16-valve all-aluminum structure. Resolved the problem on inlet and exhaust of the two valve engine while running in high speed, cost and the disadvantages of high fuel comsuption , ensure the most complete combustion of mixture fuel in order to get the best power output.

Althought the displacement of the engine is reduced to 1.5 Litre, the maximum power was upgraded to 80kW. Also, the rpm of the engine is at 3000, it can burst the maximum torque 140N.m, the engine can reach maximum torque peak while only at 1,500 rpm , the power can complete release. it goes with the international trend that low speed, high torque.

ACTECO 1.5L engine has also gotten many other attractions. For example: In the absence of the case VVT technology, ACTECO 1.5L engine ( which is not equipment with VVT technology) ‘s performance can even exceed the engine which is equipped with turbocharger.

The constant speed fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is only 5.1L, in urban traffic, the fuel comsumption is also measured as around 6.5L/100 kilometers . In addition, ACTECO 1.5L engine uses a single overhead camshaft 16-valve design, simple structure, soldem problems. To reduce maintenance costs, savings in maintenance costs, but also meet the consumers’ needs in the future use.

Voleex & Haval was Introduced as Great Wall Motors’ sub-brand

Great Wall Motor officially introduced its new sub-brands Haval and Voleex to the public at the recent 2010 Beijing auto show, Inside Line reported.

The Chinese spelling of Voleex is called “Tengyi”. The Voleex sedans include the 1.5L C30; the CVT-equipped, turbocharged 1.5L C50 (to be produced in early 2011) and the turbocharged 2.0-L C70 (to reach the market in late 2011).

The Haval brand, derived from its former Hover, will cover the company’s all SUV and crossover models, while its expensive car models are shown as part of the Voleex brand. The Haval is comprised of smaller crossovers with an M designation and larger models with an H designation.

The H-series family includes the 121-hp 2.0-liter H3, an update of the original Hover; the H5, with a wide range of engine options when it goes on sale this summer; and the H6, which will start production in 2011.

The M-series lineup includes the tiny M1 hatchback, basically a revamp of the Great Wall Peri; the 1.5L, a more muscular take on the boxy Coolbear; and the 1.5L M3 (now has been joined and named as Voleex C20R) which is slated to go into production later this year.

Great Wall Motor, mainly known in the fast decade as a manufacturer of pickups and SUVs, has started expanding its product portfolio by making derivative small cars such as Florid and Coolbear.
