BYD E6 to sign pilot project with Austria
June 18th, BYD E6 pilot project was successfully signed in Vienna Austria. China’s Prime Minister Zhang Dejiang, Austrian Vice-Chancellor DI. Josef Proell, Secretary of Commerce Dr. Reinhold Mitterlehner witnessed the signing ceremony all together.
The project is one of several BYD electric cars trail project in Europe, work will commence one after another in 2011. Austrian Secretary of Commerce truly desire to become the first BYD E6 user in Austria. The first batch of pilot projects involving 100 BYD E6, among them, a part of which will be first devoted to Car Sharing program.
Alfred Stadler, general manager of BYD Austrian agent, said: “I am not only pleased to announce to start selling the first brand from China in Austria, more importantly, it is an environmentally friendly zero-emission electric vehicles.”
